Field Service Technician – (Part-Time, Weekends Only)

Shift: Saturday & Sunday; 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Reports To: Field Service Manager / Operations Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Field Service Technician to support weekend maintenance and service operations. This role is ideal for a technician looking for supplemental income or flexible scheduling with consistent weekend work. You will perform inspections, repairs, and system troubleshooting at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance of industrial dust collection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine weekend service visits to inspect and maintain baghouse dust collectors
• Replace filter bags, cages, valves, and other components as necessary
• Maintain accurate service documentation and customer reports
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams regarding service findings and recommendations
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and site-specific protocols
• Provide on-call emergency support during weekends, if scheduled or required

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience with industrial maintenance or dust collection systems
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Availability to work weekends only
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

• Trade school or technical certification
• OSHA 10/30 certification
• Confined space, lift, or lockout/tagout training
• Experience working in industrial environments (e.g., cement, wood, food, or metal industries)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to work in hot, cold, or dusty environments

Shift Details:

• Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays only
• Typical Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM or variable based on service calls
• Additional Hours: Optional weekday coverage may be offered based on workload and availability
